Ugh

So much for my continuous streak. I really thought I'd get the chance to make blog posts for an entire month. Oh well I'll have to shoot for next month instead.

Soooo what's been going on? Lately I've been quite...busy? You know I'm really not sure that that's the right word but we'll roll with it anyway.

Also I didn't realize that being a senior meant that you somehow suddenly have a social life. I understand that it's not like that for everyone and that's completely fine but for some weird reason it has happened to me. I know I've mentioned it before but wow. A lot of my time is being taken up because of it.

As well as that there's been school. The obvious, I know. I can't wait to graduate and keep on progressing with my life. Which basically is looking like another four years of school. Yay!

And that's pretty much what's going on in my life so far. As soon as spring and summer break roll around I'll hopefully be sharing all kinds of fun adventures with you. Which will be great!

I don't have any pictures to share with you from today so here's my cat Louie being used as a table from the other day when pancakes were being consumed. Enjoy!

Hope to see you again soon!

Short And Sweet

As you can probably already tell from today's title this blog post is going to be a short but sweet one as I don't have much to report about from today.

To start off, however, I will say that today was a pretty good day. On Wednesdays I have shortened class periods which means I get released from school earlier. Awesome, right? Also it's the middle of the week which lets me know that it's almost Friday!

Since it's the first Monday of the month there was a Senior meeting before school which was basically just a reminder about some of the things that will be coming up as the school year comes to a close. How exciting!

At the senior meeting we were also handed these wristbands....

We were given theses wristbands in support of suicide prevention. I have strong feelings on this subject that I hope to talk about one day either in a video or on my blog.

Then after the Senior meeting I did my things that I do at school and then came home. So it was a pretty productive day.

I did say that this was going to be a short blog post...

Also I started my Dear Nicole series of videos. So if you'd like to check it out then feel free to do that. They are located on my YouTube channel. :)

Until next time...

Ordinary Day

Hello there!

Let me just start by saying that I've made it to day three! Yessss! Honestly I've surprised myself by keeping this up. I'm happy that I'm managing to keep up with my school work and my blog and soon I'll be adding in my videos for my channel again. I can't wait! It's a lot of work but it's completely worth it.

So today started out like every other school day of this school year so far, which pretty much consisted of me dragging myself out of bed at what felt like the crack of dawn to go and shower and then have breakfast. Oh joy. And pretty ended like that as well, except replace the bed with a desk and the shower with my AP Biology class. I have no clue how either of those things are equivalent but I feel like you get the picture.
I did stay after school to go over a couple of things with my math teacher, however, and then I walked downtown to the local Starbucks and had a snack there. That was pretty much my entire day.

Now because I don't like to write short blog posts, when I can avoid it, I thought I'd let you know a few of the things that are going to be coming up for this year. First of all I have decided to start a new little feature video on Wednesdays called "Dear Nicole." These videos will be replace my Wise Words Wednesdays vidoes for the most part. I mean I may do a few WWW videos here and there but the majority of these videos will now become "Dear Nicole" videos.
So what are these new "Dear Nicole" videos you may be asking? And if you're not asking yourself that then think about why that is because you should be. I'm just kidding.... Sort of.

Anyway...

The "Dear Nicole" videos are for my internet friend Nicole! We met during a YouNow live show and have become very close ever since. Because she lives in Canada we haven't met yet but we do Skype and text regularly. So I thought why not make some videos just for her? I have a lot of crazy and fun ideas just swimming around in my head and I can't wait to share them with her and with you.

Secondly... I may or may not be visiting the U.K. again this summer. Fingers crossed that I am though! The whole reason I started this blog was so I could record my adventures while I was over there last summer. So I'm hoping I do get to go back and record some more wonderful adventures with you. :)

And that's about it for today. Not a very long blog post for today but I guess that's okay. The main thing is that I'm keeping consistent. I'm really happy about that.

Oh! One other thing... I went to the supermarket today and I saw this....

Too early or too late?

I have no words.

So that's the end of today! I hope you enjoyed today's mini blog post. I'll be sure to type to you again tomorrow!

Have a good day or night!

Aimee :)

Second Semester

Hello!

Today marks the day that the second semester of the school year starts! Well sort of it officially began on Saturday but considering I went back to school today, in my mind today was the day that it started. Make any sense? Yes? No? I'll just leave it at you understanding what I just said.

So saying that I'll get into what today was like...

During the beginning of second semester quite a few changes take place and most annoyingly out of all of them are the schedule changes. Having to get your classes moved around is hard and starting new classes in the middle of the year. Ick! That's probably just me though. I hate it because once I've finally settled into a comfortable rhythm of the order in which my classes go

BAM!!

It's changed and I have to reset my self and get comfortable with the new schedule that I have been given. And it's not that I don't like change, because I do. It's more like I don't appreciate having to have different class periods for the same classes.
So there's that.

Also I'm happy to still have Pottery as one of my classes alongside Net Sports which according to someone in the class is basically like having game day everyday. So that's exciting considering how lazy I am when it comes to working out... Just kidding! I love to run and I do it as often as I can, which is not very often.....

Anyway.....

In other news today went pretty well. I got very little homework, which was nice, and I got to mainly relax and get settled into all my new classes.

MY LAST CLASSES OF HIGH SCHOOL THAT IS.

*cough* *cough* excuse me....

I'm just really excited to be moving on with my life. High School has been a wild ride but this is the last semester and I've had a nasty case of Senioritis since the beginning of the year. I just can't wait to be done.

That was basically school for today. I also made a KitKat Banana Bread when I came home from school today because I love to banana bread and I thought I would give it a go. I haven't tasted it yet though.... I hope it's good and if it is worthy of having the recipe posted up on here.

Here is a picture of the bread in case you were wondering what it looks like.....

I'm looking forward to trying it and I'll let you know what I think of it when I do.

So I think that is pretty much today covered in a nutshell. I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself for making it to day two of my blog posts. It's a mini accomplishment for me. :)

I hope you have a great rest of your evening or morning wherever you may be!

Byeee for now!

Aimee. :)

Late Night Blog Post

Good Evening!

Sooooo as you can probably tell I haven't made ANY blog posts since the beginning of the year and it's already February! First off where has the time gone? And secondly I have come to the conclusion that I'm the most unorganized person ever. No, I take that back I am pretty organized but I am the worst when it comes to sticking to a schedule.

A lot has happened through the month of January and I've been quite a busy bee especially since I am a senior and being a senior has made my life very stressful. I have had to more studying than I have had to do in the past three years and the homework load has noticeably increased. On top of that I have had to do some special senior assignments that you have to get done when you're a senior. Which means that a lot of my time has been taken up because of that. And by some magic miracle I have gained a social life during this school year. I'm getting to go out more with friends and have fun times. Which is quite nice.

Now I'm not complaining about getting to do all these fun things with friends or having a huge workload because they are both great things to get to experience and most everyone has the opportunity to do both but not everyone and that's okay. I just believe that talking (or more like typing) out what's been going on helps me to unwind and gives me a chance to express what I'm feeling. Which is good as long as I don't go on long rants about it. I'd hate for this blog to become a place where all I do is complain or share all my stress. That's wouldn't be good for either of us.

Apart from all of my school work and the like I have also been trying to fit in time for some new videos for YouTube. Which is proving to be quite difficult. Not necessarily idea wise but time wise as well and as to why was explained above. BUT I hate to make excuses so I'll try not to but I don't not want to give you a reason as to why I'm not making any at the current moment. I hopefully will be back on board with it soon though! Which you'll be glad to know if you're interested in watching my videos.

So really that's all that's been going on. Today I watched the Seahawks VS Patriots for the Superbowl on TV and have to say it was a pretty close on edge game, Since I'm living in the state of WA I support the Seahawks and was sad to see them lose but I thought that both teams played a good game and in the end one of those teams either had to win or lose. Just disappointed that it had to be the Seahawks.

Decorated my nails in support of the Seahawks!

And that is pretty much a summed up version of my day and my year so far. I do hope I can be as consist as possible with these blog posts through the month of February, as I love to write and I enjoy making new posts when I can. :)

I hope you're having a great year and I hope to get to talk to you again soon.

Bye for now!

~ Aimee :)
